PEER CENTERS

Under contract with the Riverside County Department of Mental Health, Recovery Innovations of California, Inc. and Oasis Rehabilitation Center, Inc. offer a peer operated program of integrated services to current or former adult or transitional aged youth (TAY) consumers of the Riverside County Department of Mental Health. Services include a Resource Center with information on housing options, employment opportunities, and educational opportunities. Educational Programming with classes on five developmental tracks: Wellness; Personal Development; Employment Development; Change/Adaptability, and Community Reintegration. Monthly community activities are offered at little or no cost.

Art Works

The Art Works, art center gallery in downtown Riverside, is an extension of the Recovery Innovations of California, Inc. Peer Support and Resource Center. This program offers a creative learning environment and programming related to artistic expression for those who carry a mental health diagnosis. The program houses a commercial gallery that exhibits, markets, and sells works of art and presents public theatre performances.

 It offers programs such as drama, choir, drawing, painting, and crafts, weekly at the Riverside Peer Support and Resource Service Center (PSRSC) and the Perris PSRSC.Areas Served: Riverside, Moreno Valley West to Corona. Mid County Region: Temecula, Lake Elsinore, Hemet, Perris.
